| Job Description | To purchase Consumables, Oils, Chemicals, Lubes, Lubrication etc. To locate and select the best source for material and services required. To receive Purchase Requisition (PR) from the department and know the exact quantity of material requirements and check the last stock and Rate in the system. To locate and select the best source of supply for material and service. To arrange the Min. three quotation from supplier and match the item as per requirement. Purchase the required material at the lowest price and the best possible terms. To place the Purchase Order (PO) to Supplier. To follow up with supplier so that delivery of materials is obtained at the proper time. To maintain proper records for the efficient operation of the Purchase Department. To keep constant touch with market condition and try to secure the best knowledge of goods. |
