Job Description
The Electrical Engineer is a mid level
engineering position within Umbilical Solutions Engineering Group. The
Electrical Engineer defines and maintains design rules, leads R&D
projects, consults and sets direction on new designs required for client
projects, supports supplier qualification and new product assessments,
supports, coaches and mentors junior engineers.
The Electrical Engineers scope covers MV and Fibre Optic cable designs for bids and for projects. It also includes ongoing support for the design, manufacture and testing of LV cables on-site.
The Electrical Engineer takes responsibility for development of Oceaneerings knowledge and capabilities in subsea electric cables and systems.
