The purpose of the SME role is to provide organization-wide leadership in Mechanical /Piping / Structural Engineering through all stages of the project lifecycle in the Oil &Gas field. The incumbent will provide technical support to the Engineering Team as the lead authority, as well as ensuring that the operation and delivery of the Engineering projects is in accordance with Company and recognized industry and regulatory standards. Also responsible for the project management activities

Mandatory Skills
- Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of a number of complex upstream oil & gas projects
- In depth knowledge of the application of national and industry codes and standards applicable to the oil & gas industry
- Design Experience in pressure vessels, process module design and/or piping engineering related to the oil & gas industry Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders within the organization
- Experience as Lead/Principal Engineer in an engineering consultancy/ EPC will be an added advantage
