Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Create/modify production engineering related to design, part modeling, assembly creation, and overall drawing support. Work with existing products as well as new designs,
and provide resolution, analyze improvements and develop processes and
tools to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the entire
development life cycle. Interface with other members of project engineering, program/product teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum 4-year Degree and typical experience in engineering classification
Experience:
3 to 6 years mechanical design, part modeling, assembly creation and drawing creation.
Minimum 2000 hours of CATIA V5 over the last 2 years (will be required
to pass a hands on CATIA V5 Competency Test as part of interview
process)
Minimum 2000 hours of Part model, Assembly model and drawing checking and validation against requirements.
Previous Aerospace Interiors and/or Payloads experience is required.
Project management and/or aerospace manufacturing integration experience is a plus.
Previous Boeing statement of work experience is a plus.
SolidWorks Experience is a plus.

Possess an understanding of engineering job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories and concepts.
Provide technical solutions for a wide range of tasks. Work
independently to analyze, interpret, and translate source data into the
product.
Development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design a plus.
Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practical, and consistent with organization objectives.
Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of source data and make corrections as appropriate.
Adhere to established process, styles and procedures.
Meet assigned schedules and deadlines.
Meet engineering production and quality standards.
Perform other duties as assigned including packaging work for offsite teams.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
General understanding and familiarization of engineering practices and related technical publications
Strong PC skills with high proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office products functionality.
High proficiency in 3D modeling skills CATIA V5
Ability to learn new applications quickly.
Ability to prioritize for maximum productivity for multiple projects
Ability to define and document processes as required
Ability to identify potential issues, analyze and recommend improvements and alternate solutions.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Good verbal and written communication skills. (English)
Good organizational skills.
Proven reasoning, analytical abilities and mechanical aptitude.
