Job Description
- Proficient in CAD software (NX or Catia V5): solid modeling, assembly, drafting, kinematics modules for designing of seating structural components.
- Experience in seat mechanisms like tracks, recliners, height adjuster, latches etc.
- Performs seat packaging studies, layout drawings, hand calculations, tolerance stacks, DFMEA etc. under guidance.
- Understanding of GD&T.
- Knowledge of seat regulations like ECE, FMVSS, IS etc. will be advantageous.
- Experience in seat tear down, prototyping, testing will be preferred.
- Familiarity with stamping, riveting, welding processes.
- Experience with PDM/PLM like Team Center, Agile.
- Good communication skills: written and verbal
- Flexible to work in shifts.
- Willing to relocate outside India as per the program needs.
